This popular venue now has a new weekly Cuban night every Friday night. The evening kicks off with dance classes for all levels between 9.00 – 10.00 p.m. This is followed by DJ Doctor Jim who takes you into the early hours with his soulful selection of classic & cutting-edge salsa, timba + RnB & soca. Occasionally features a show and guest Cuban teachers.

Situated next door to the Club Colosseum, this Saturday night venue is one of the few remaining clubs available on a Saturday night and is growing in popularity due to the closure of the Loughborough. It’s not too far from the centre of town and is the normal venue used by Salsa Republic when not having their monthly party next door at the Colosseum.

Bar Rumba is an established nightclub, but only features salsa on a Tuesday. Classes are through Elder Sánchez’s team between 7.00-9.00 p.m. and the club starts immediately afterwards until about 2 a.m.. Elder is a well known name in London and his team have classes at various locations. It’s a friendly crowd in the centre of London and worth checking out.
Entry to club costs £4.00.

Mambo City are another of the big names in London salsa, and do classes here on Thursday nights. Rueda is also taught on the 1st Thursday of every month.

Classes are from 7.00 – 9.00 p.m. with dancing afterwards until 11.00 p.m.
Classes are £5.00 for 1 class and club, £7.00 for 2 classes and club, £2.00 for club only.

Another of Salsa-UK’s events. Bromley is located on the outskirts of South London and is not on the tube. Classes are held every Tuesday starting at 7.30 p.m. for absolute Beginners and Intermediates / Advanced classes taking place at 8.30 p.m. Class/Club entry £7.00.
