Salsa Level 3 Class in Basingstoke UK, Thursday 7th May

Marchant led the level 3 class with a warm-up that consisted of turns and spins and boy did I struggle!

I shouldn’t really write about it as I haven’t got it yet!

Marchant and Davina

Marchant and Davina

Let’s see, add Salsa music and it goes some thing like this:

Beat1 Left foot in front of  Right foot
Beat2 Right foot in front of Left foot
Beat3 Left foot 90 degrees turn to the Left
Beat5 Right foot in front of Left foot and turn and now should be facing the opposite side i.e. 180 degrees
Beat6 Left foot in front of  Right foot
Beat7 Right foot 90 degrees turn to the Right and on 1 should be facing the opposite side i.e. 180 degrees, ready to start “and again”
  • Sounds simple doesn’t it but I might just have got it wrong.  So, you will just have to wait till next week!

I should explain that Alchemy Dance at Basingstoke have 5, yes (FIVE) levels at their Salsa class.

Salsa dancing is becoming so addictive.
