Ian Paisley. Hell and eternal damnation preacher steps down at 81yrs

The Roman Catholic papacy sighs in relief.

“I Denounce you as the AntiChrist!”

shouted Paisley as he held up a red poster reading “Pope John Paul II ANTICHRIST” in black letters, that famous day in1988, when Pope John Paul II was delivering a speech to the European Parliament. Thankfully John Paul continued with his address after Paisley was ejected from the auditorium by fellow MEPs. Just one of the many exploits of the The Revd and Rt Hon. Ian Paisley.

His words at the inaugural speech as Northern Ireland First Minister has a maturity that differs from the stormy sermons of former years.

“The great king Solomon said, ‘To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven.

‘A time to be born and a time to die. A time to plant and a time to pluck up that which is planted.

‘A time to kill and a time to heal. A time to break down and a time to build up.

‘A time to get and a time to lose. A time to keep and a time to cast away.

‘A time to love and a time to hate. A time of war and a time of peace.’

“I believe that Northern Ireland has come to a time of peace, a time when hate will no longer rule.

“How good it will be to be part of a wonderful healing in our Province. Today we have begun to plant and we await the harvest.”

Will these sentiments come true or will it be when hell freezes over.

One may not agree with him but you do have to admire his passion.
